Hi All,

Hopefully someone can help me out here.

So I had the machine for like 2 months. First batch of cartomizers were the Standard Resistance https://www.puresmoker.com/ProductDetails.asp?ProductCode=BOGECARTO-0004 3.0 OHM. Worked out fine. Couple of duds, maybe.

So I read that Lower Resistance is what I needed for my 3.7V batteries. I grabbed five 1.7 OHM and five 2.0 OHM cartos. Maybe 2 of them worked and all of them didn't even produce anything. I screw them in tighter it would get hot. I tried sucking it in when hot and it was burnt smell.

I buy 5 more of the Boge Refillable 510 Cartomizers 2.0ohm. One out of them worked fabulously but the rest sucked!

I got 10 more of that smok Tech 2.5 Ohm Black Dual Coil Short Cartomizer and they kind of work. I realized that you should go lower OHM on the Dual coils so bought MadVapes 510 Dual Coil Stainless Cartomizer, 1.5 ohm. Hopefully these work out for me.

Help! I need to know what works for you!

I don't know whic

Cartomizers seem to be going through QC problems right now. Reports of both Boge and Smoketech. So, some hit and miss may be unavoidable right now, but probably worth bringing to your venders attention.

On a fixed voltage 3.7V PV, you are probably never going to be happy with dual coil cartomizers. It boggles my mind to understand why the venders package them into kits at all.

Use single coil 2.0+ ohms for best results but try to stay under 2.7 ohms also.

Also, make sure that you are filling them properly. If you are using Boges and new to this, look at this video-

A PBusardo Tutorial : Filling Boge 510 Cartomizers - YouTube

Remember to top them off before you get a burnt flavor. A burnt carto is trash and will never improve.

Thank you! I really hope it's the way I was filling them up. I just dripped from the top for all of mine so far. I'll try to use the condom method. If it doesn't work, there goes more money for liquid. I'm on 2 weeks now without analogs but this frustration might just drive me back if I can't get anything to work! Lacking nicotine today!!

What I have noticed with some carts on certain batteries is that the center contact does not make connection with the center contact where it screws onto the battery.

If you take a paper clip and stick it in the center hole on the contact side, and pull it outward a little, it will make contact with the center contact on the battery.

Also, My Smoke Tech low resistance dual coil carts work great on my ego batteries.
