I bought 1 package of threaded wire for wicks. I opened the box and was like, hmmmm how the heck am I going to thread these? There is no possible way! I've tried stretching it out then wrapping cotton (yet, another I'm waitiing on, my silicone wicks) And I am out of EVERYTHING so I'm scrounging, lol

So, when I got so frustrated with doing my own coils, I said screw it, I'll buy my own. So, I ordered one box of threaded wicks and one box of unthreaded, to see if I could do it.

Wellllll, I don't know where the magic comes in, but there is no way a wick is making it inside this thing, lol.... heres what the box says: Microcoils 1.8 OHM, 33G 50 pack. Oh and have a few threads of the other stuff, just using cotton.

Someone please tell me there is a free trick to get this threaded!! I'm going insane waiting for what is it VapeTech or something, in china.... over a month now, just is going right along with the theme of my life currently! *sigh*

Any suggestions?

Thanks a bunch

Pink, like edyle, I don't understand what you're asking. Actually, I don't quite get "Microcoils 1.8 OHM, 33G 50 pack" since I thought I might google it up and try to get some more details. I guess my google-foo is weak pre-coffee.

It seems you purchased a 50 pack of pre-made coils. It is not normal practice to stretch a coil. Perhaps you bought coils that were made specifically for an atomizer other than the one you're using?

Where did you get the microcoils?

What are threaded and unthreaded wicks? (Oh. Do you mean coils with wicks vs. coils without wicks? As in threading a needle?)

We also don't typically wrap cotton around anything, though there are some specialty setups done that way.

And it would be very helpful to know which atomizer you're trying to rebuild. I'm sure we can get you up and running if we can get to common vaping lingo and have more information.

You are an Angel!! I honestly couldn't figure out how to upload a pic! Yes, look remotely close to those but have never seen a coil so thin, I'm struggling all day because I'm waiting on Juice and wicks that are predone, and I just can't figure out how to load her up, any suggestions that don't cost money? lol Mine are 1.8OHM, 33AWG and look to be about 1/2 the size of yours, lol. *sigh* But yes those are them, buy look way tinier, honestly a qtip stick. I dunno, getting real tired of waiting over a month from FastTech for the wired wicks and 2 glass body replacements. Does anyone know where else I can order them? I was an idiot and the one listed above for #50 was $8....... I don't think I've ever waited this long for FastTech ( I think!China?) Any hints on what to do with them, besides poke my eyes out? xo

Okay, finally awake enough to put this properly. I know how to make my own coils, but my issue here is the coil is SO SMALL, it's snug on the pin part on the back of a "Birthday" Button or whatever! (see photo) I only have scraps of wicking that I used from the other ones, I have no clue how to get anything in there, lol... AND to make matters even funnier, the premade ones had 4 lengths of wicking, how? No clue. I'm still waiting on Vape Tech or whoever they are, in China for new ones... it's been over a month already. Getting testy, lol Anywho, here are the photos, and thanks for showing me how... I always do the "Quick Reply" so never saw that option.vape1.jpgvape2.jpg

I can't afford to go buy new stuff, just have to work with what I have but heck, you can't even get a pin through that coil!!!

Any suggestions appreciated :) OH and someone asked, I use the usual ol' Kangers & EVODs.... all the same, I do them all the time :)

Do you mean use them all the time or re-build them all the time?
I think you could get those to work in an evod/pt head with a little work. I've built hundreds of them... but I think I would try cotton for wicking, It will be much easier to install into the coil.

Did you check the 2 videos I posted?
They show how to rebuild those protank coils.

I rebuild them all the time, but this is the first time I have purchased "pre-coiled" and when I did my own wraps, they were twice the size, when tight, the hole is so so small, I can't imagine pulling/pushing something through it. I suppose I can just undo the coil and start fresh. Geez, what a pain, lol!! Thanks so much, will try the cotton again!!

Good idea!! I was trying wax, vaseline, spit anything, because the wick parts I have are the leftover snippets from the threaded ones I bought, so they are rather short... but that is a good idea, I'll try. I just hope that slow boat from China gets here soon. Is there anyone here in the US that sells the prewrapped coils for about $2? I wasn't even thinking and ordered these from FastTech... but to their credit, I've never waited over a month for my stuff... so we'll see :)

Thanks so much!!!
