i'm using kirsch, and for me stormy's profile page has a white background .........

i ran into the same problem with mine. when i used an imagine for my background it showed without a problem after i ok'ed the changes. when i went back to that page a little while later the background had reverted back to white. could kirsch also be interfering?
using colors for my background there is no problem!

i have now gone through all the different ecf skin options and stormy's page background remains white for me

using ie 8.06

I second the Chrome notion. The other nice thing about Chrome is that it updates itself and includes the Flash Player in the update. Since the Flash Player patches are critical to anyone wishing to stay virus free, this is a definite advantage, because the IE and Firefox versions of the Flash Player updates only show up when you first log into windows, after a reboot. With Chrome, Flash for Chrome is an automatic update.

Cheers :toast:

Lis@ Thanks buddy, you are the one that got me to pondering the skins though. :) Just do me a favor and post no more gross pictures at dinner time. My dinner was not as good the second time. :facepalm:

well, lis is running ie8.06 and can see the flowers with no problems - and i hate to say this but i'm no fan of either chrome or ff. i tried both of them just recently and did not like them

edit - just opened firefox and cindy's flowers are NOT showing - something else is going on

All of the browsers have their strengths and weaknesses Tibs. IE is a fine browser. It has a tendency to be a bit slower, and vulnerabilities aren't patched as quickly as firefox or chrome. However, user familiarity is an important factor. If you are happy with it, then by all means, stick with it. :):):) :toast: Most modern sites like ECF are designed to accommodate all of the major browsers.
