Profile Page Problems

Cool. If it isnt the MS Security Essentials and not your ECF profile settings, only one other thing comes to mind.... Graphics properties in your XP. This seems unlikely, but would be common to both browsers. If you right click on your desktop Tibs, select Properties, this should bring up "Display Properties", go to the settings tab and report back the Screen Resolution and Color Quality. Also, under the Advanced Button, Troubleshoot tab, is Hardware Acceleration on Full? Is enable write combining checked?

Anyway, I have to leave soon, and work late. Alex and Lis, you will have to run the ball, as I am off court for awhile.

go and check metropcs.com, the backgound there is gray like if it were a piece of the clothe used to make jeans

I still think it have something to do with your antivirus or firewall but very hard to tell where

you still can reset IE to default

control panel/internet options /advance /(the right far tab) / and click on reset internet explorer at the bottom

and yes the 2 computers i mostly use to the internet are running XP, I also have W7 but i have not touched that PC on months and I don't use the mac to internet

tiburonfirst -- I don't know if you have resolved this yet. If you have a video card you may find you need to tweek its software settings. Just another possibility.
