My progression...
I was smoking 2 plus packs a day. Drove for a courier service at the time, and the rear vent windows in my van stopped working, leading to a horrible smell, even with my overpowered taste and scent receptors. Something had to change.
Started with some(half dozen) unnamed generic disposable menthol cig-a-likes(hey, they were on sale for like $1 each at the time, and I am a superlatively cheap person, just ask my wife), then on day 4 bought 3 flavored disposables(at $7 per, but they were higher "capacity") in the thought that I could/would stay at the same overall expenditure level as smoking because I could smoke when I wasn't in the vehicle.
Then I got sick... bad bronchitis...got it every year... and couldn't smoke without a seriously bad hacking cough. Was home on my second day, wanting my nic-fix, and went over to the nearest vape shop I could find on Google maps. I went there and bought the cheapest kit I could find. 900maH In-Feeling vv(lol) eGo battery with a CE4(I had to go back to my first post here to remember that), and some "melon" flavored juice whose name I can't remember. Then, on to Evod batteries and clearo's. Stayed solidly there about 10 months, and kept using them about 10% of the time(still have a few that I use very sporadically) after getting my first (semi)mechanical mod, an R80 folding telescoping pipe. Loved this thing. Sidewinder/pipe all in one. Spent the next year in this place.
Figured out that I used it almost exclusively as a sidewinder, and wanted a microstick, but needed/wanted a larger capacity tank.
