It's amazing! This is a blog post that basically sums up every piece of propaganda that has been spewed against the ecig. For those who have been watching this battle for awhile now... it is almost a trip down memory lane.

Please. Do not let this one make you mad. Take it for what it is: A guideline as to what some are being fed and taking as fact. Some of the statements are very wild.

For instance: "I believe when organizations like the World Health Organization, the American Lung Assn., the American Heart Assn. and the American Cancer Society warn us and tell the FDA to remove e-cigarettes from the market that we should listen."

There it is.....that's the handwriting on the wall..... the anti's have worked so hard and so long to eliminate the smoking culture. To shift the cultural and public perception, now they're afraid of the PV bringing it back. So they vilify, demonize, demoralize instead of working WITH the new technology in a comprimise.

These tactics worked on the analogs, which were proven dangerous - so they're going to their same box of tricks to eliminate PV's.

Which is EXACTLY why it is blatantly stupid to distance ourselves from the smokers and for the fight against smoking bans. The bag of tricks works well when we are divided and/or asleep at the wheel.

It's such blatantly biased propaganda that it's almost funny - except that people actually read these things, and in an anti-anything-at-all-like-a-cigarette environment too many latch onto what's said in these articles as truth.

If you clicked the link to go to the original article, which has two comments and was then closed, and then became curious and went to the beginning of the blog, you saw that this person is a professional crusading nanny. She seems to put a lot of effort in it, too.

I could not help myself and know without doubt my comment will not be approved. Here it is,
cannot believe you had the balls to post that partially cropped picture of two cigarettes representing the fall of the twin towers. ASH posted it and was immediately assaulted for such poor taste. You then post it on your site and should be ashamed.
On another note, why do you have such a thing against e cigarettes? Is it because they look like the real thing? Is it because they have nicotine like the drug companies who profit from fruity flavored nicotine gum that any kid can buy in a store? Is it because they emit vapor, the same ingredient that produces the mist in an asthma inhaler? Or, is it because smokers have simply found a way to enjoy themselves with greatly reduced harm to themselves and others? Is that what bothers you?

Yup and its like the anti smokers have an information clearing house they get all their talking points from. I cant tell you HOW MANY times I have read that "We must not re-create the smoking culture"

I plan on using mine even MORE now because of that.
