so I've read a lot of different ways to charge your battery for the first time. I've read some say charge it for over 8 hrs before using it. charge it till the light turns green use it for an hour then put it back on the charger..... and I've also read batteries are so well made these days i don't need to do any of that stuff. so can some of you pro battery gurus out there give me some advice on this subject???
so what is the best way to charge a new battery to get the most out of it??? i got some new 14500 batteries coming in and just wanna make sure i get the most out of them.
thanks

batteries from the past had a sort of memory. You had to fully charge them and fully deplete them to maintain this memory. However, today, it is my understanding that Li-ion batteries require no such maintenance. Charge them the first time until the charger cuts off. Vape happily.

You'll get longer life from a lithium battery if you don't stress it. Charging a Li-ion battery when it reaches 3.5v or so instead of vaping it until the 3.2v cutoff is the way to get max life. Charge time is also reduced that way. Rotate several batteries instead of just two and battery life is even higher before you have to replace them.

Take them off the charger as soon as the light turns green. Trickle charging just produces heat and that's hard on a battery.
