Just as a historical juxtaposition... Had the candle makers of the day wielded the power of the oil companies: we would be without the light bulb.. So too political correctness ( misplaced ), condescension of the elite and tobacco companies' clandestine and open lobby power- have created a climate in which in even this basic personal individual choice in pursuit of life liberty and happiness .. Will be challenged at every turn. I am saddened at such continued lemming behaviors like the purposal in Seattle ..but not surprised.. I hope those in the industry of the e-cir will not sit on celebratory laurels over the recent setback to the FDA in this regard: and would assist the local communities. They must see that victories in these corners only will serve to give buttress to further moves against this personal liberty of vaping.

This is ridiculous... Just like all of the other fairy-tale laws that have passed. I'll tell you one thing though: If e-cigs were to be banned(*biting lip*), I would have NO faith left in democracy... If I had any in the beginning anyway. Ugh.... That freaking nimbus cloud is following me again. Lol. I hope this all gets sorted out, PROPERLY.

Maybe this is a possible lead into a total ban, but I think they will have a hell of a time proving that e-cigs are even close to as dangerous as real cigarettes. I dont see how a total ban is a real big deal. So stealth vape. Even if someone sees you doing it, how can they prove it when they cant even smell it. I imagine the police will not even respond. So you get kicked out of a bar. Go visit the bar down the street. I vape in public all the time everywhere, but I stealth vape because I do not really want to attract attention. I also dont care that someone is trying to control my rights. I will just do it anyway.

This is democracy at work - "Rule of the people". The question is - what kind of people? Answer - Us and fellow Americans.
