"The bill would add e-cigarettes and other vaping products to the state's existing smoking ban, which took effect in 2009. The current law, which bans smoking in enclosed public places, applies to cigarettes, cigars and other tobacco products — but not vaping products...

The lead sponsors are Reps. Jeffrey Mursau, R-Crivitz; Rep. Debra Kolste, D-Janesville; Sen. Andre Jacque, R-De Pere; and Sen. Fred Risser, D-Madison...

They also cited last week's reports that a number of teens from Milwaukee, Waukesha and Winnebago counties have been hospitalized in the last month with severe lung damage doctors suspect is tied to vaping...

Bill sponsors said the proposal has the support of the American Heart Association, the American Cancer Society's Cancer Action Network, the Wisconsin chapter of the American Lung Association, and the Campaign for Tobacco-Free Kids..."

Vaping would be banned from indoor public places statewide under bipartisan plan

Interesting. I figured vaping would fall in the same category as traditional items, thus not being allowed indoors. Many places around here have updated their signage to include vapor products.

I really would never do this unless I was at an actual bar, lounge or shop that allowed this. I was actually picking up my prescription the other day and this rather douchey looking guy walks up to counter and plops his giant mod on the counter and actually stood there taking a few rips while the clerk fetched his prescription.

Vaping already has a bad enough rap as it is...this guy wasn't really helping the cause....
