Hi guys. Great forum. Been reading a lot and creating more questions than answers, and then reading some more.

Found a few threads that almost answered my questions, but stopped short.

I just built my first 28ga / 2mm Ekowool Protank head for my Kanger Protank 2, but I'm looking for specifics to build a 28ga / XC-116 coil next.

This thread was promising but was closed with no feedback.

This thread was also a good coil discussion for the Protank.

And this thread is a great resource but primarily with cotton.

Looking for any feedback using XC-116 in a Protank 2.

Any preferred coil designs? (Spaced, "micro-coil")

Preferred Evod / Protank donor head?

I prefer a airy, warm vape, with moderate throat hit. Really only been getting this consistently from a cheap drip atty I drilled out. My brother build a new coil for it and used cotton. Everything about it is great, but I'm not liking what the cotton has done to the flavor of my Banana Slurry.

All of my builds will be running on my Vamo 1 and 5 for now, with 18650 AW IMR 2000mAh and Ultrafire 18350 1200 mAh (single) batteries.

Exactly what question could you poosibly need answers for that havent been addressed in the protank microcoil discussion thread ?

Or said another way, why dont you visit that thread and ask your specific questions there ?

I am confident some of the folks in that thread, especially ecf member MacTechVpr who IS afaict quite a technical expert in the use of xc116 and xc132 ceramic wick materials. I'm confident he'll be happy to answer all and any concerns you have about micro coiling a kanger with ceramics.

Not trying to come across as rude, but it would really be appreciated by all the folks talking about it if we could keep the kanger micro coil tech info being compiled in the same thread(s), rather than disbursing it into yet another micro coil thread.

btw... I believe it's the xc132 that's being used in kanger micro coiling applications. The 116 is too fat.
