Protank 2 came in

Ok gang,

My protank 2 came in, all in a pretty box and all.

Now, I HATE the KPT v.1. I rebuilt it, recoiled it, rewicked it. I didn't have any "problems" with it. It didn't leak (when I coiled/wicked them right) or anything, but I hated the flavor, or lack thereof. I attributed it to the brass and brass tip.
Been on Carto tanks, RDA/RBAs, and EVODs since.

However, since i had an order to place with fasttech anyway, I added a KPT2 to the order since I could replace the drip tip (yes, its authentic KangerTech).

While I was waiting, I received and coiled up my IGO-L and an RSST, which I've been vaping hard and am really happy with for vapor and flavor.

For those who've had both the KPT 1 and 2, is the KPT2 much improved for flavor? Would you recommend a plastic tip?
Are the stock coils crap like they were for the KPT1?

The Pro Tank II uses the same heads as the original Pro Tank. Wash the unit out with soap and hot water (make sure you clean the inside of the glass and other pieces). You should also try flipping the gasket that site above the flavor wicks, and if that doesn't work, removing one of the top wicks.

So you're saying I still have to use the old tricks to get decent flavor outta the KPT2? That's disappointing. Good thing my RSST is killing it!

I get better flavor using the stock heads on the protank 2, I do not know what it is but it was always about the loose draw on the Protank which is a bit better on this revision, That being said I still prefer the iSmoka BCC's because I do not feel bad about breaking them... I have issues

Unfortunately, not all juice has the same consistency so yes, you have to use some tricks like you would with any tank unless it just happens to be tuned for the thickness of the juice you are using. I don't understand why they don't make heads for different juice consistencies. They could improve everyone's experience by making different heads for thin, medium, and thick juices.

Just mod your set up if you vape thicker juices.

The pt2 is a vast improvement on the pt1 for sure. The mini davide and the mini protank are winners also--super consistent.

The PT2 has solved all the issues I had with PT1. The draw is perfect, no muted flavor and no metallic taste once I swapped out the drip tip.
