Hi
Haven't really been keeping up for a while, as I'm really happy with my Protank 2 + ProVari v2.5 setup. But now, I'm getting my filthy paws on a P3, and therefor I decided to get an Aerotank Mega as well. Yes, that ancient thing
Anywho, I'm trying to figure out, whether I can keep on truckin' with my Protank 2 single coil heads (rebuilt with microcoil and cotton), either as is, or with some modification?
There's obviously a gap if I just fit it as is, so I guess that would leak at some point, right?
If I fit an additional silicone cup on top of the original one, it looks like it seals up nicely, both when facing the same way, and when upside down, compared to the original cup.
What are your experiences with this? Does it work?
I'm not really interested in using the stock heads. I know I can use the old PT3 dual coil heads, which can be rebuilt, but since I have a bucket of PT2 heads already, I want to use them if possible, of course
Thanks in advance for your replies and suggestions.
