oi vay.. why do these opening posts always end with someone asking everyone to spend their money for them? Clearomizers have problems. If it's not leaking it's dry hits, if it's not that it's the draw. You have to work around them. It's really not that difficult. any other "tank" anyone suggests will have it's own kinks. They're all just trade offs.

what mod are you using? no chance it could be cutting off airflow to the protank is there? The airholes for the protank are on the bottom at the top of the 510 connection. If they get covered up when you screw it down the draw will be 0

Next time it starts leaking turn it upside down and blow through the mouth piece (away from your eyes please) with paper towel covering it somewhat to catch the juice. then dab the 510 connection with the paper towel and blow again, you'll hear it blow freely eventually. make sure the 510 connection on your mod is clean and put it back together then vape on.

Take the head out of it, take off the top stem that covers the coil with the silicone grommet around it, roll a small piece of cotton into a wick and place on top of the coil. Replace the stem, rescrew the head in the base, and let it saturate and give it a vape.

It's hard to know exactly what the problem is with your particular setup, but a common problem that I discovered is that after putting in a new coil and filling the tank with juice, you need to let it sit for ten minutes or so, in order for the wick to soak up enough juice.
Also, check your o-rings. There should be one on either side of the glass tank, as well as one around the base where the coil goes, opposite side from the 510 connector. Try making sure your coil head is screwed in tight, too; sometimes they can come loose when you're putting the base assembly back on the tank.
Overfilling is another common cause of leakage, especially the kind you're talking about where you wind up sucking raw juice. Remember to spit that out immediately and rinse out your mouth with water, as it's not meant to be ingested.
Next time it leaks, try taking it apart very slowly and carefully inspecting all the parts to see if you can determine exactly where the leak is happening. I use pt2's almost exclusively now, and I know they can be fussy sometimes. But once you find the problem and correct it, you'll be back to vaping happy in no time.

ok.. sorry bout that,, i use a mvp i taste, I have just purchase the protank, and I'am looking for some advice, thanks.

nothing to be sorry about. I just feel bad when the next 15 posts i see are people suggesting to spend money on what they have and very few if any posts with people actually trying to help with the problem at hand.

(happily I don't see that here :) )

I'm one of those rare few that have yet to experience real issues with my protank 2. I love mine. I've been using it since August, no problems that aren't ordinary with vaping.

Don't overfill it. Be sure all fittings are snug, but don't tighten it too much on your MVP. If you removed flavor wicks and it's leaky, maybe replace them, or switch to the suggested cotton. Eventually, learn to rebuild, but don't worry about it right now. DON'T throw away used up coil heads. You'll need 'em later ;)

Do what k702 suggested (blowing it out) if it's gurgly, it works great. It's pretty easy to get liquid into the center hole.

Don't give up on your Protank.

The biggest help you can give a pro tank is to toss it in the trash.

Or send it to me.....just sayin'. The protanks I and II have been fantastic for me and are my go to tank. I just rebuilt my first one last night and it's working flawlessly. Usually the problem is user generated...not the tank. Though I get the same results as the OP with the MT3's......junk.

I had a ton of trouble with some of mine too. Getting the aero base for them straightened them right out. Cost about $5.

Kanger Airflow Control Valve - Protank II, Protank 3, Aerotank

This.

I had trouble with the airflow on the PT2, especially with the mvp, until I got the aero base. Bad airflow causes too much suction and pulls too much liquid into the wick and mouthpiece.

Also, if you draw too hard on them you may suck liquid, try changing to a long soft inhale for better results.

Messing with the wicks and grommets won't help unless you get the airflow right.

You might try rebuilding the coil on the MT3 too. I've got a couple of T3S's that I rebuilt the heads on and they haven't leaked in four days now.(fingers crossed). Flowed juice like the River Nile before.
