Protank 2 issues...

Right, yesterday i was out and about and popped into a local vape shop to try out some of their new flavors. Their demo battery was dead so took my carto off to try some of their sample clearos and ended up losing my carto and drip tip (sucks but what ever) anyway, due to this i bit the bullet and bought a Protank 2 - was either that or a CE5 which i cant stand! anyway, the protanks up n runnin fine on my Vision Spinner. get home, put the spinner on charge n whack the protank on my ego clone.........nothing......the clones working fine with my other clearos and cartos but sweet F/A with the protank! any suggestions?

The positive post on your battery might be pushed down. You can GENTLY pryit up one side at a time with a needle or micro driver

Some people have had some problems with the pin making good contact on some batteries, try pulling the pin up just a little.

The center pin on the ego clone may be slightly pushed down, you can attack it two ways:

Raise the center pin on the battery itself:

Or pull out the pin a bit on the PT's head:

Remove base from PT2 then remove head/coil assembly from the base.

Work fingernail between contact pin and grommet:


Then gently work out the pin a mm or two, youve now essentially extended the contact pin, and when you screw it on to the battery it should adjust itself to the proper level (ie push in).

Here is YouTube vid, be gentle when moving pin, just a little is needed.

Also make sure coil is screwed in base tight.

Or an o-ring of the proper size works, too!!
