Hello vapers... I just purchased my first pv i.e. Kanger protank 2 mini and i am quite satisfied with it.. Its been just 5 days of usage and suddenly there is lot of vapour production plus less throat hit... I am not sure but is this the indication to replace the coil?? Or just my throat is adjusted my 80/20 (18mg) pg/vg favour. I am using same fle juice from day 1. Any experienced advice??
Also, i have started to vaping just to quit smoking.. I was 20 ciggs a day smoker before vaping and now i don't even like the taste.. Still have 1 or 2 a day... I wanna free my self from nicotine vaping too as early as possible. Any successful plans you guys have executed for my scenario.. Thanks in advance for all advice..

My brothers all were smokers and started vaping which in turn got me into vaping. Mostly the throat hit your looking for is probably going to be from the nicotine level not the pg vg ratio. So the reason the throat hit disappeared was because your throat became accustomed to the level. Also it could be you need a flavor with a little more kick maybe something that has a little menthol in it. So if you want to try to quit smoking its a long process. Especially if your still smoking cigarettes you should focus on getting off those than adjusting you nicotine levels yet. As for when you get completely off the cigarettes you should then adjust the level of nicotine at your pace and at a pace that keeps you most comfortable and keeps the withdrawal away.
As for the coils 5 days shouldnt really burn out the coil yet. Usually when a coil is done you will get a burnt taste in your vape( which will be very noticeable) and you will notice there is something wrong. So regarding the throat hit try something with a little menthol in it or try a different blend that might better suit you. Good luck you'll kick the cigarettes soon!!

You don't need to change the coil until it tastes burnt or stops working. When they go, they make less vapor, not more. Finding the right juice and nic strength is crucial to getting completely off the sticks. It has to be a flavor you like better than cigs, it has to deliver enough nic to stop the cravings, but not overpower you so you can use the e-cig whenever you want to satisfy your hand to mouth motion need. You are definitely heading in the right direction. 2 cigs vs, 20 is a 1000% improvement. Go to a vape shop; most of them have "juice bars" so you can taste different flavors. And keep testing nic levels to get where you need to be. Great job so far, and welcome to the board.

Your throat could be getting use to it. In my experience i got the best throat hit off of 70./30 which is what the local shop carries, that and 50/50. I asked the difference and they told me, 50/50 is better for clouds and flavor, and 70/30 is better for throat hits. That info comes from a guy who attends siminars on mixing liquids so take this advice for what is it. Hope this helps
