Protank 2 not true stainless?

I have had a Kanger protank 2 for a while now. I bought it from a reputable place Gotvapes it was in the correct packaging with the correct markings. Im not new and have been through a ton of equipment in almost 4 years. So i know a knock off. But look at the attached picture, the smok Magneto mod is true stainless, you can see how the Protank is tarnished, ive never seen true stainless due this, it seems plated. Any thoughts?

kanger protank 2's are made of brass with chrome plating. not stainless steel.

Your absolutely right, i was like no way and i dug the original box and paper work out of my closet only the drip tip is stainless. Still love the tank but i thought the whole thing was stainless. Got the stainless steel mod just to match the tank. Oh well, now off to find a real stainless tank so the whole thing matches. Thanks for the reply.

Tatroe Mods makes some nice stainless Tatroe tanks- real stainless, not mystery metals. they even use ProTank coils.
