Protank 2 + Smok Magneto issues

The bottom part where the atty screws in is stuck to the top cap of my smok Magneto. Help is greatly appreciated

Ouch...

Some rubber strips help a lot with grip for these kinds of situations.. unfortunately beyond that you will have to use vice grips.

Thanks for the advice. Unfortunately I don't have either of those things on m at the moment so I'm gonna have to wait til tomorrow.

Also, for some odd reason I'm getting this super booty burn taste every time I take a drag. I just got a brand new atomizer for my tank so I

If it's a Magneto V2 with the adjustable center pin, take the top cap off the magneto and back out the center pin with a flat head screwdriver. Maybe that will release some tension on it??

As far as the burnt taste, this can been a couple of different issues.

1. Coil is not wicking fast enough due to a higher VG ratio juice or the coil came wrapped too tight from the factory. You can try removing a few or all of the flavor wicks to enhance juice flow to the coil.

2. The volts are too high for the coil you're using. A freshly charged battery putting 4.2 volts through a 1.8 Ohm coil is pretty hot.


I have Evods, a Mini Protank 2, a Protank 2 and an Aerotank. I love the look and quality of the tanks themselves but the coils are hit or miss. When I started to rebuild Kanger coils was when these tanks came alive with vapor and flavor!

If it comes in a brass color it's a V2 right?
