Started having issues with one of my PT2's........like WTH?!?!?! Just couldn't get it to stop flooding EVERYWHERE. Grrrrr!
Was thinking, had I taken many ECF members down the primrose path to a constant state of frustration, head banging, or possibly worse???!?!?!

After careful dis-assembly of both the tank in question and one of my fully functioning tanks, FOUND the CULPRIT!!!

There is a silicone ring on the top of the base platform right below the threaded post! And the ring from the flooding tank was MISSING, probably took a journey with the rinse water while I was cleaning it. It can be easily missed with a fast visual inspection. PT2's usually have 2 extra rings supplied with the tank, just push one all the way down over the thread stem til it sets between the threads and base platform. Vacuum reinstated, NO MORE LEAKS!

I am once more, a happy camper...er, vaper!!!!:)

Whew!! Glad you figured it out!! I've been singing the praises of the PT2's to everyone that would listen and I'm glad it was something simple!!

I sing those same praises. I've noticed that anytime I see a negative type of post in relation, it's usually a pretty simple fix, or someone that may be new to bottom coils. Been there done that........ ECF had the answers :) I love protank.
