Kanger nedds to fix this problem before they put out a new tank. Iam sure it will use the same coil. They are losing alot of costumes. They just lost me.

I guess I'm the odd man out here because I just got my PT3 a week ago and she smokes like a champ...Big plumes of rich vapor. I run my unit at a higher voltage than my Vivi Novas- 4.8 opposed to 4.2. I'm happy and when it's time to replace them I will probably just rebuild myself...Sorry your unit is acting up 
I have had no issues with my Protank 3. I run stock coils between 4.4-5.0 volts on an SVD with no issues. Lots of vapor. And yes it sucks juice like crazy.
I've started buying gear at a local shop instead of mail order. It's more expensive but I have not had issues with any of the coils I buy there.

I replace the head about once a week, or more frequently if it gets gunked up or starts tasting burnt. I have spent no time cleaning the old heads or trying to rebuild them, I'd rather just pay $3 a pop for new heads.
