Im sure there has been a few posts on this topic, but wanted to know if anybody heard of any new news lately. I find myself everyday waking up and going online to see if there has been any updates on the protank 3. Im just very impatient. Im really hoping this is everything I hope it to be. Great taste( no bad burnt taste ) and being able to pop on the coil head and have a nice vape for a few days. Like I posted before I really like the protank2 but always have to hassle with taking the top wick off and changing it waay to many times. Also, I feel like I can never get the same vape from one head to another. Any updates would be much appreciated. I also keep checking pbusardos youtube channel to see if he got his in and uploaded a review for it since he said kanger sent him one.
Thanks :)

I'm waiting for reviews on it, and general usage by members before I buy one. I didn't have any issues as far as the PT2, with the coils and wicks that I couldn't deal with, like you said, burned coils, random ohm readings >urgh<, dry hits. (Dread learning curve) I just switched out the wicks to cotton and they're doing great. Great vape. A lot better than the PT1. The PT3 has got to be a total no muss, no fuss, put in a coil and forget about it tank or I'm not going to bite.

It really chaps my hide when I put in a 2.2ohm coil and my mods show anywhere from 2.0 to 2.6 ohms, then it's all about messing with the VV/VW so I don't get burned coil/juice. I need to learn how to do coils!!!!!:glare:

Yes, I totally agree with you. This protank 3 has to be a no fuss, no muss put the coil in and be able to vape for a few days. If I have to fuss with it and sometimes get bad heads, I may as well just stick to my protank 2 since 50% of the time I get a good vape :) It just really baffles me that I cant seem to get every head working the same for me. If the protank 3 works like Im hoping it works, what am I going to do with all that time Im going to save by not messing with all the heads :)

My understanding is that the Protank 3 will basically be the same as the Protank 2 except it will have a new coil head design with dual coils instead of a single coil. There are rumors flying around that the Protank 3 will also be top filling (like the Unitank), however, I personally don't think that this is true because, from what I have seen from Kanger, they have not ever referenced the Protank 3 to be top filling.

I hope it's a completely new design, I don't see how any new coils alone would make it vape any better, the chamber area is so small.

From the pictures I have seen, it doesnt look like a completely new design. It almost looks the same as all of the protanks just with 2 coil heads.

Here's a picture, it looks to be the same design as the Protank 2 to me minus the tapered drip tip like the Mini Protank 2

electronci cigarette. ecigs, kanger protank. kanger ecigs
Duel coil and the top of the tank is rounded, not angled like the PT2, same removable drip tip and totally dis-assembles.
"*Huge Vapor
*No Burning Taste"

We shall see! But I'm not gonna try it yet! When Busardo does a review, I'll make my decision then, haven't been disappointed with his reviews.:)

I think they are trying to foil the DIY re-coilers.. Have a more proprietary product...
The legs I heard on the coils that are supposed to available soon for the existing model, are single coil and have non-resistance legs on them, along with a dif. grommet material.

Thanks Jules, that sounds like some really good news. Hopefully they will be out soon.
