Oh and also after u replace it. On your cartomizer there are two tiny pieces sticking out on the side.
Dab just a lil juice on those. I know I have to puff on my protank for a bit to get it going let the juice warm up.
Also try wiping the inside of your batt where it screws into Thant brass connector that should help as well.

Still working on my first Protank head. Picked up mine on Saturday and for now it's my go to at home device on an eGo T battery (3.7v). I've gone through about 5 tanks of liquid, 2 blackberry (pretty thin) 2 chocolate hazelnut (fairly thick and very dark) and 1 caramel (medium thick and amber colored) with no burning of the wick or gunk on the coil. I rinse the tank with every flavor change in addition to removing the coil head from the base and simply daubing the wicks with paper towel.

I will say my experience with T3 heads is that they have a tendency to ohm out significantly higher than the 2.5 published ohm rating. The last 6 I got ranged from 3.6 - 4.1 on my Fieldpiece multi head multimeter which is a professional model I used in commercial refrigeration. perhaps the factory is banging out too many to keep a good quality control in order to meet current demand?

Hi Momma. Do you have any spare heads left?
If you do , turn the silicone upper over. Remove one of the wicks for a thinner(watery/runny) liquid, or if you are using a thicker liquid(about the consistency if dishsoap) you could try removing both top wicks and see how that goes. I personally use a thicker liquid, thinned 90%VG, and with the Protank or the eVod I have no top wicks and the cap turned upside down. I have not had any issues with them setup this way. The cap is there to form the seal between the two metal pieces. Once you flip it over it will then be stuck on the upper tube leaving the wicks fully exposed to your liquid.

The killer on theses two devices is too little liquid or choking the wicks. That will allow them to gunk heavily and get that all too familiar burning yuck taste.... If some of this doesn't make sense ask and I will clarify. Good Luck. Happy Vaping.

Would that perhaps cause leaking though?

That depends on a whole host of variables. This is why I listed in my own personal experience with what is ok with one top wick and what is ok with no top wicks. The ring is there to form a seal between the two metal pieces, nothing more. It is placed where it is for convenience of the factory worker, and for the "duh" of the consumer. It should be removed when it begins to deteriorate to the point of no longer sealing, which is normally near when the coil needs to be replaced. It covers the top of the wicks, if you flip it over it still forms a seal but does not sit on thop of the wicks any longer, allowing better wicking. With all the wicks removed sharp stiff draws Could allow you to over feed the coil to the point of flooding but each person has different draw types on different devices.......

I have this done on both Protanks and eVods that are well over 4weeks old that have been running on 5.3volts without issues for most of that 4weeks........ with cleaning and dry burning every few days, each one has been through about 6-8ml of liquid per day.

Nope. Boge 2Ω carto with two huge holes in a tank......at ~5.4v.......most often go-to setup. Favorite for sitting around enjoyment would be a modded (bored out wick hole)AGA t2(?+...glass tank) with a 1.8Ω coil at ~6.4v...... at work is most often the eVod because of the length when its atop my mod, if I drop it its pretty tough, and its easy to fill. Protank would be last in rotation due to the light draw. All of these would be running with my all day menthol......

Lately I have been using my T2. I really like it a lot. I had some issues at first because I kept wraping the coil too tight. After I got a little bit of help, it has been working great. I have been thinking about getting a pro tank. I like the ease of changing the coils. I also heard that they are better if you remove one of the wicks. I also like the fact that the drip tip is built in. I drop things a lot because of tremors. I keep breaking drip tips. I thought that a stainless steel drip tip would work better, but I just bent my last one. Anyway, I can't afford to buy another head until next month. I just placed an order for some eliquid. I am still trying to find my all day vape. BTW, I really like the cotton candy and light tobacco. The cotton candy was a little strong. I cut it with some vg and it smokes like a dream.

Well.... That cotton candy is my all day menthol...lol. I may have went a little overboard with the sweetener in that batch.... But I do like sweet so maybe not.....It gets its kick from the menthol and peppermint. And yes it is a vapor monster, it even works well at ridiculous high wattage..... But hey Im glad you got it going for you.
