Wasn't sure if this should go here or in the eGo section so mods feel free to move if you like.
One of my batteries is a vv ego, not a twist, it's the kind you can change from 3.2v>3.7v>4.2v by clicking three times. Well, my wife was using it with our new protank that we got a little over a week ago and I think it shorted it out and killed the battery. The battery won't seem to hold a charge and when you press the button it flashes 10 times. When I examined the protank I noticed that the end of the positive wire is protruding out through the rubber grommet that hold the pin. I'll try to post a pic of it later. The behavior I noticed was, if I tightened the protank down all the way, it wouldn't fire, but if I backed it off a quarter turn it worked fine, then the flashing started. I've since changed out the head to one that looks much better and it's working fine on a different battery. I guess the moral of the story is, examine your heads carefully and if you see any wires protruding that could cause a short, don't use it.
Anyone have any ideas on my battery with the 10 flashes, is it just dead now? I've only had it for about 2 months, and luckily we've got two other batteries, but right now we don't have a backup.
