So I'm looking to add a couple of tanks into my rotation. Currently, I use Protank II's ad Protank 3's -- and I must say, I absolutely love them. Sure they're not the greatest for everything, but they're semi durable, and most importantly, they're easy. easy to fill, easy to clean, easy to replace bits. --if i want better flavour or a more dense vapor, well then I have rda's for that.

but now I ask of you, oh great collective knowledge of ECF, is there another tank system I should be considering? perhaps something better? or at least easier? or maybe something more durable?

I do have a music festival to prepare for so something rugged that I can depend on and that can take some abuse would be great.

Cheers

eGo thread tank.

Get the base from the miniprotank and use it on your protank; you'll need to add a second silicone cap inverted on top the atomizer to seal the centre tube.
That way
- you relieve the congestion in the 510 threadwell, get better airflow, and less battery-center-pin problems.
- remore 'rocking tank' syndrome. You get a solid fit with an eGo thread instead of the 510 thread.

To change things up a little, change out the base to a Kanger Airflow Control Valve. You can use the same heads as you do now in the PT's. Not only does the base look better, its a better vape in my opinion. No leaking either.

I got mine here: Kanger Airflow Control Valve - Viper Vape Inc

I really do like the Protank 2's with adjustable airflow. If you like those I'm sure you would really like the Aspire Nautilus. Holds 5 ml of e-liquid, super easy to fill ( much easier then the Protanks ) and has the adjustable airflow. I own 2 and have recently purchased a steel tank for $17 for those days that I need something durable ( won't break ) when I'm outside.

Good Luck to You.

Does the Aspire Nautilus fit the VTR? Looks like it will be tight, if at all. I feel exactly the same as OP, use PT2's and happy enough but should branch out a little. But I really like the form of the VTR, don't mind the weight but like the compact form.

No it doesn't. The only way it will work with the VTR is with the adapter.
