just stumbled upon this Kanger Mini Protank – KangerTech any more info on it? or should I assume its the exact same as normal protank but with 1.5 ml capacity? anyone have one and want to share pics or any info id love to hear/see.

It's most likely the same set up just smaller, but images show that the base design might be a bit different. It hasn't hit the market yet...coming soon is all I see in search results.

I've been looking at buying a Kanger ProTank with my nest e-juice order ... after reading the reviews on the construction quality, price and easily changed replacement heads ...

My vendor offers both 1.8ohm and 2.5ohm replacement heads ...

I don't understand the benefit of the different ratings on the heads for vaping ...

Which is best choice ... and why ?

This is for my EGO - CE5 with a 900mAh battery ...

If you have a variable voltage or variable power device, the resistance, IMO, does not matter as you can adjust.

if you do not have something you can adjust, then a Low Res head will provide you with a warmer stronger vape than a higher res. I prefer the lower res myself but others like a cooler smoother vape. YMMV

Thank You

I've been looking at the video reviews and thought this looked very well built with a glass tank and replaceable heads that would be a big improvement over the CE5 that came with my EGO's

P.S. My local vendor also happens to be sold out of the 2.5ohm heads, but still has the 1.8ohm heads ... so it should work out well for me ... :)

Iv been thrilled with my protank since I bought it. what don't you like about it? and being that they use the same heads, I think they'll vape the exact same other than capacity.

I have two protanks. They vape fine for about 1/2 tank then leak all over my batteries. I have tried new heads on them and still both of do the same thing. I finally got tired of cleaning my batteries and dealing with the mess of dumping juice out and cleaning them.

When the tank gets to be about half full, there's a build up of negative pressure in the tank, and juice tries to get out any way it can. So, if I am rocking my Protank all day, I know that right around half tank, I need to take it apart real quick to clean out the shafts (of the tank and the coil head), give everything a wipe, and reassemble it. It only takes a couple minutes, and I can do it just about anywhere (except driving). After this little cleaning session, I can vape the second half just fine all the way down to the last drop.
