So I got my protank last tuesday and I love it but after the first day my juice started tasting burnt so I replaced the coil (saving the old one) and it was fine again. Then today I as vaping my diy liquid and it all of a sudden lost all its flavor, I wasn't chain vaping or doing it too fast so it shouldn't have burnt out and its a fairly new coil (wednesday), I can't quite describe it, it's not burnt but it tastes completely muted, same liquid same coil so what could it be?

Some people find luck with removing one or both of the flavor wicks placed on top of the coil.

Could be power drop - less power = less vapor/flavor
Could be over wicking a bit = to wet=less vaporization/less flavor
Could be Condensation build up in tube = cooling vapor/less flavor
First, simplest - place upside down on tissue and remove base. Let sit for a minute or two. Wipe any accumulation away.
You didn't give much actual detail to work with. Maybe add:
E-liquid Blend
Battery Device
Number of fills before issue arises
any other detail you feel may help

I'm running an ego style 600mah with a 66vg35pg blend of mango cotton candy and peach
I get a little bit of taste but every other draw is just really muted and different tasting, it's fully charged so i doubt power is a problem. Does removing the wick really help? I mean without wicks how does it get the juice?
No, you would only remove the top wick. Watch the video. I would suggest you make sure it is not flooded before you go removing any wick material. If you do what crxess said and some juice flops out, you were most likely flooded, and removing a wick would be a very bad idea. Check the ohms on your atty while you are at it...if they have spiked up for some reason, the same voltage is delivering a lot less wattage.
My device doesn't let me change or tell what my ohms are, except that the coils are 2.2. I put it upside down for about five minutes and it seems better! fingers crossed it doesn't come back I guess, nothing dripped out that I could tell though

Yep, slightly over saturating.
If it happens again, take a few Long light draws to allow it to Vaporize the excess.

That's right if it is flooded. But, with high VG juices, removing a top wick or two is recommended for dry hits and burnt taste.
It's doing it again and this time its gurgling. I guess I'll look up some info on how to stop flooding cause holding it upsidedown only helps for a few mintues
Now it sounds flooded. Try unscrewing it and blow though the tank bottom with the top pointed down. This should push the excess juice out without losing juice in the tank. You can also just unscrew the atomizer from the tank and do this. Hopefully you haven't pulled any wicks if it is indeed a flooding issue.
A few points on bottom coil tanks.
Drawing to hard will cause flooding.
Removing the top plastic cup will cause flooding
Flipping the top cup could cause flooding.
Repeated short draws can cause flooding.
Attempting to blow out the center tube with the connection end down can empty the tank.
Remove base, lift plastic cup slightly and let the upper pipe seat it as you install the base. This is a seal to prevent air from entering from between the pipe and coil section.

Is my protank in danger of getting damaged? If not I'll just continue on with it until I get an ego twist (will the VV change help?). But still it has just been today, the first day it worked like a dream, so smooth with all the flavor but today it is hit and miss.
Protanks take some experimentation to get right. As others have said, different juices require slight modifications like removing flavor wicks and/or flipping the rubber gasket upside down. It's very easy to dial up the power too high and then burn the flavor wick, especially with a thick/sweet vg juice that doesn't wick quickly. After that, your juice takes like crap.
Not likely to do anything to damage the tank. Just swap, rinse and let wicks dry. Fluff the edges before installing. Should be okay.
ETA - May as well learn something now:
Silica Wicks DO NOT BURN, whether coiled or flavor. However e-liquid does get gunked on them and can cause a nasty burnt taste.
Soaking and dry burning can clean all this off the wicks.

1) Always fill your tank up nearly full.
2) If you get occasional flooding, take your tank off of your PV, and shake out the excess juice thermometer style out through the drip tip.
3) Refill when around 3/4 empty.
These three things, assuming everything is correctly screwed together correctly and airtight will fix flooding and gurgling without fail.

I cleaned my tank thoroughly and dried, refilled with liquid and no major difference :/ like every other hit is smooth and fruity and then every other other hit is burnt ish tasting, it doesn't quite taste burnt like how tanks sometimes get, it just tastes very different. Ughh I just don't want to have to use a third coil in one week of use
