Hi folks! I'm having trouble using a Protank on my Tesla. To get it to screw onto the 510 connection I have to exert extreme pressure while screwing it down and even then it's not on there firmly. Any little bump will knock it off. I've tried using a 510-ego adapter but the same thing happens with it. I'm wondering if it has something to do with the the spring loaded connection. Anyone else have this problem? I might try a 510-510 adapter.

Carto tanks, Vivi Novas work fine but I've switched to Protanks so this kinda sucks. An unstable Protank is no good--drops are bad!

Thanks

I don't have any problem with my Protank on my tesla. I doubt there is anything wrong with your Tesla. Where did you get your Protank, is it a clone ?. Anyway, About the airflow controller, my experience with it is not good. I got it through the post screwed it onto my New Vamo V4 and the Vamo gave an error message. Skinny version, the airflow controller had pushed the centre terminal of the vamo in and the grommit had popped out. Took ages to fix. The centre pin on the airflow controller is too long and there is too much play, about 1mm, in the adjustment. A tenth of that would be fine, like on the thread cover you get with a protank, you know !, Just a slight adjustment will close the gap. The airflow controller's adjustment seems to go on forever. My advice, don't get one. True it will work ok on your tesla, but me, personally, i don't want to screw that thing on any of my mods even if they do have a spring loaded terminal. I chucked it in my box of old worthless vaping junk where it will stay.

My guess is you've got a clone Protank.

I recently got a protank 2. The draw on it is perfect. Not airy like the original.
