Been using one for about 2 months, never had that problem yet. I usually vape right around 4 volts on a twist myself, haven't popped a coil yet. I have gummed some up. Never completely popped one yet. That is strange, maybe someone else has some answers for what's causing it.

What resistance are the coils?

It doesn't mean anything to say you use yours at 4 volts and never pop one. There's a key piece of info missing here. It's like saying that you drive way over the speed limit all the time and never get caught... without mentioning it's on a race track.

I'm using protanks (bottom feed) and not having any problems. Use 2.2 ohm and 3.4 to 3.8 volts depending on juice. Coils last 1-3 weeks depending on juice. Replacement coils are reasonably priced. My favorite tank. Sounds like you may have a defective one that is shorting out somehow. I'd call the vendor and see if they will replace. I find most are willing to help out.

Never had a problem with my protank... knock on wood. 3.8-4.2 is about where im at with SR coils. LR coils burn hotter so cranking up the volts might pop it?? gummed coils are generally from the juice. I heard darker/or thick juice gums them up over time but personally never had that problem

no dont have a multi meter,i vape around 4 volts, and i start the battery when i puff, and yes i chain vape sometime, and yes it does get hot when it pops
Ok. Do you have a multimeter? Do you have problems if you go with 4.0 volts instead? Do you start the battery long before you puff? Do you chain-vape it? Does it get hot when it pops?
