protank shorting?

i have a protank/ego-c and it has been awesome so far. im on my 3rd head and every once in a while i get a buzz on my lips and no fire from my coil but the light comes on. only way it goes away is if i pull the head and twist the lug that is insulated in the bottom. am i getting a short to the body some how? would think the silicone cup and glass would insulate ME at least. do i need to take it apart and move the coil? does this happen with ss mesh if it touches the body? its almost a metallic sensation, like sucking a penny.

It sounds like the hot lead from the coil may be too long. This happened recently on a head that I rebuilt; it was shorting out. I trimmed the lead (the one closest to the bottom) and it stopped shorting out. If that doesn't workk, I would toss it, unless you are into rebuilding these little heads like I am.
