Just got a Kangar protank with my new eVic. Waiting on a shipment of ejuice to load up the Kanger. Looks great in the box. :) I'll report on it later.

A friend raves about his kanger, so I'm trying one. I'm especially excited about the glass tank (vs plastic), as I have had various tanks and clearos go cloudy-brittle-crack on me.

Schweet! You went with the ProTanks. I am soooo loving the T3's over the clearomizers. Not sure if you will notice much difference from your vivi's as they had a great taste coming through as well.
Let me know how you like the Pro's as I might buy a couple of them myself.

As a side note: Still tootin' on your Red Dragons Breath. Tastey stuff man. Got my order in from Fuzion Vapors as well and let me say, Krankberry and XTC are very delicious as well.

I was down on the Protank during the first days I tried it. It wasn't because of vapor production, which is superb. It took me a while to get used to the airy draw and I was getting no throat hit. Flavor was under par, also.

I removed the silicon ring on the head above the wicks. That boosted the flavor a bit. Then, I found that my RY4 juice produced more throat hit and provided good flavor. Now, after about 3 weeks of vaping the Protank I'm a fan. I still like my cartos and my Vivi Novas. The Protank holds a little more juice and I've found it to be easy to fill and maintain. I get absolutely no leaks and the few times I've experienced gurgle, it's when the tank is almost empty and that doesn't always happen.

The more I vape it the more I like it. If you've been buying juices that are light in throat hit on a carto or Vivi Nova, they might be too lightweight for the Protank. Try some juices with more kick in flavor and throat hit and you might just end up sold on the Protank. I"m starting to find that the juices I once couldn't vape one a carto because of the TH, bitterness, and strong bouquet have an entirely different personality on the Protank.

I checked my batts with an old analog multimeter and they read about 3.8-3.9V. Your post really makes me happy, cuz I want to love his tank, and I just happen to have ordered a VV battery last night.

Keep in mind that what you measured is resting voltage.
Under load that will drop significantly.

OP:
I just got a Protank and a eGo-C Twist and it's a good combo. Puts out bigger clouds above 4v than most cigars. As stated it is airy and may take some time to get used to. Higher volts seem to increase performance(vapor porduction) but it is directly related to flavor. It seems there is a sweet spot on certain flavors and if you go above(or too far below for that matter) that it ruins the taste.
Lots of good info and advice here.
Experiment with it, what one likes another may find repulsive and vice versa.

Two weeks ago I would have said "Pass on the Protank". I've since changed my mind. I needed another device for a new flavor and dug it out and stuck it on a Provari and was surprised. The draw is tighter on the Provari and works to my liking.

No doubt due to the top ring around the atomizer socket sealing off all but the air slots on the base. Mine vapes a little lighter than a Vivi, but not so much as to make it too airy.

The ProTank is one of my favorite tanks. I am still new but I have aga RBA, vivi nova, Cisco 306 1.5ohm dripping atty, dct tank, evod, and now the ProTank. Let me just say the Cisco 306 attys are awesome, amazing flavor and plumes of vapor. The ProTank gives me that dripping flavor in a tank. It's incredible! Best $15 I've ever spent. Trust me you should get one. Go to ivape.net, click clewromizers link, 510 link, then you will see he ProTank special $14.99 plus search for the ivape coupon code on Google.com and it comes to like $14.06. You will love the ProTank just DO NOT drop it haha. Also if you have a variable voltage battery or mod get the 1.8 or 1.5 ohm coil replacements. Tons of vapor and it tastes so good. It comes with a 2.4 and 1.8 ohm coils.
