I have used both the Protank 2 (with airflow adapter) and the Nautilus. All my protanks now sit in my vape drawer.

The Nautilus give me a much more airflow and better flavor. The BVC's (bottom vertical coils) that are used in the Nautilus are far superior to the Kanger coils used in the Protanks.

Learn to rebuild the ProTank and use cotton and flavor won't be an issue .................don't need to use heavy VG and blow out huge clouds to have quality flavor. Sorry - I just don't buy into the hype of cloud chasing. I've been using PT2's for almost 2years......get plenty of vapor and plenty of flavor.

None of these three tanks are made for cloud chasing, that's certain. I used a PT2 for a long while and the airflow difference with the Nautilus Mini is substantial. Even with an airflow adapter addon, the Protanks can't match the air flow of the Nautilus Mini. And the airflow isn't all about cloud chasing. The extra flow allows for a smoother, longer pull. More vapor is a product of that, but so is a smoother, denser vapor with more flavor. And flavorwise, there's no comparison between the Kanger coils and the new cotton bvc coils. The Nautilus coils are known for their fantastic flavor output, wicking, and wattage handling capabilities. Insofar as rebuilding goes, not everyone wants to be hassled with it. I personally rebuild my Subtank OCC coils, but it's too much trouble for most folks. Your rebuilding argument can be used with the BVC coils, too... and will provide better results, incidentally.

I have both kanger and natulis tanks. some times I just can't get enough air through a kanger even wide open, where as the natulis I cut down and run about 3/4 open. the only issue with the natulis is it some times pops and spits at me but it might be that I'm not running it right. Higher VG mixs don't seem to give me as good a flavor as say a 60/40 mix. But I'm looking at taste and not clouds. cotton wicks really do make better flavor but I tend to burn them up. So I'd say read up alot and choose what works best for you. BTW neither my K's or N's hold up against my Sophia.

You can convert your PT 2 and use the Aspire NON Nautilus BVC's. They are "replacement" coils for tanks other than Nauti's. Converting your PT 2 is as easy as buying at Kidney Puncher an extension ring, $4.00. It's first intended use was for the adaptation to bottom double coils. This screws onto your airflow controller creating a deeper well for the insertion of a BDC or a Replacement BVC.

I'm a chain vaping, heavy duty juice loving, low wattage granny that find it impossible to rebuild the BVC's. Each one of my efforts feels like trying to suck a very thick malted through a straw. So, I stick with my rebuilt single Kanger coils for the heavy dark, sweet stuff that gunk up coils fast. Rebuild with 30 Kanthal and cellu cotton. Gives me an excellent vape in taste and enough vapor on the airflow controller that's wide open. :)

BTW, I have both sizes of Nautilus's and only use my lighter liquids in them. Do like them; but, unfortunately, the coils don't last me as long as other people because I do chain vape at low wattage.
