I posted this question in the Janty forum too, but thought I'd ask the experts as well...

So, I've got a few of these protected 10440's from trustfire (here's a link).

Anyway, is there any issues with using these in the Janty Sticks while plugged into USB? I'm thinking that since both the stick and the battery are protecting from overcharge, it's just redundant protection, right? Shouldn't cause any problems, should it?

About the only weird thing I noticed was that when I used them in my V1, once charged the red light goes off. If I then put the battery into my V3 it seems to start charging the battery again for a while, even though the V1 thought it was fully charged. Maybe a slight difference in the overcharge circuit between the two versions?
