looks like the wafers that are supposed to be in protected batteries? i suppose you could mod your "unsafe" batts and bring them up to spec, as well as use them for built in protection in projects themselves, no?

i posted exactly that with tinears conclusion on a german modder board and only got negative replys. makes one think to post such things ever again.
