I really question that claim that it is smaller in diameter than the precise.. expecially if the measurement we're seeing here is 12.9mm diameter....and the precise is 12mm diameter...last I checked 12mm is smaller than 12.9mm...

According to the Ikenvape website the LpV3 Laser is 11mm dia.

Some 10440 mod measurents i have:

Precious 10440: 12.9 mm
Traditional Laser Mod: 13 mm
GG Slim: 12.4mm
Super T Precise 10440: 12.2mm at the ends/11.9mm at the middle

I haven't measured the new Iken laser mod, but to accomodate a 10440 battery (protected ones are 10.5 mm approximate diameter) + to have adequate wall thickness for threads, you need wall thickness in the .030 range which gives you a minimum diameter in the 11.9 range.

Also why is the small presious too big? It's is 12.9mm which is only 2.9mm bigger then the battery you are looking for. Heck, the lazer is going to be almost 2mm bigger then the battery, what is one more millimeter?
Exactly what i was thinking :confused:And i have a laser mod !That's like comparing apples to oranges:p

I said from the outset that I didn't expect the requested mod to out perform other mods. I just wanted it to look better than current mods and out-perform the commercial Chinese stuff. It looks like the best the 10440 bat can do is 600mah but at least it's replaceable. This is much better than the Janty eGo....for $30? Can't beat that...if it works.

Bassnut, have you looked at the Spade?

It's a part of the VP series but it's black.

I recently bought one thru the classifieds and, so far, I'm quite happy with it.

yeah it gets to be a toss up...that's why the term smallest is debateable...are we talking diameter or are we talking length...
we're also talking about all mechanical versus wired too...

not that I have a dog in this hunt...since the 10440 battery just isn't my thing...

just that the "smallest" designation is somewhat misleading...there are so many other factors depending on what the person is looking for...

For me personally the precious is a non-contender...when you balance size versus all mechanical, where it's made (so where it'd have to go for repair), style of switch, materials, cost of unit, etc.

Another Bingo!
Thanks Scubabatdan.
Maybe I can to this mod myself.

Good luck drilling the RCA out without a Lath or a Drill Press. I went and looked a Dan's walk through and it is easy to do when you have those kinds of tools at your disposal, luckily I do too but I wouldn't suggest someone try to drill that with a rechargeable hand drill IMO.

Here is the PDF file for the "Cisco Lazer Mod" by Cisco, you could probably make this one yourself: View attachment 8195
