Proteus list

After our decision to let you choose serials for Proteus, we now have a problem that we have to solve.

A long time passed after we started this list, so some people will not buy Proteus for several reasons (money, they stopped vaping, they bought something else, they may not like Proteus after seeing its video, etc). On the other hand, other people will want to buy proteus and they have to be able to chose numbers that other people will not finally buy. So the best way is to start preorders for Proteus. That way I will be able to know what serials I have to make.

Serials will not follow a numeric line like other GG constructions but they will follow the list we have already made. If for example no one asked for serial 784 then this serial will not be produced.

So after the video that I will do for Proteus, preorders will start. You will chose the number you have already chose on the existing list and my sellers will send me the list of those numbers. After that I will start the engraving on Proteus.

hi imeo, if I understand well, we can only preorder our annouced number! However is there a waiting list for example for those numbers that are not going to be preordered? If yes i would go for the first lowest number possible. If not just guide us on this! thx

I for my self wouldn't mind go randomly to preorder and leave the list number,
If it make things less complicated.
Just thinking a bout some confuse with one get this and the other get that.
As for me the mod and TMF is the most importent.

Maybe there are others like me,so part of this chaos can be avoided,just thinking.

I got serial number #124.is it sure that i will get this number or do i have to make again a sign in into the new list. Do i have the opportunity to get a lower serial number?

definitely a headache, I would be happy with TMF as well.... but I am sure that Imeo sees it as a 1 time challenge! What ever is decided I am ok with it! Hope to help if I can as well!

I have two numbers on the list but i don't know if i'll be buying both, or just one of them.
I'll need video and specifications before making the decision.
I have sold one of the two Penelope V1 that i bought a loooong time ago to go with Proteus, so i would need to get another Penny to use both Proteuses (Proteii? ).

I saw this coming. I too would like lower number but for Imeo and resellers it will turn into HUGE headache. I will pay for preorder and keep the number I had to make it as painless as possible. Then when I decide if I want a second one I'll see which one did not sell.

When I remember all the work Major put into the list I hope this won't start again! I am sure there will be at least some kind of trouble coming towards us. Should people on the list have a priority for a 2nd choice? Should the first and loudest shouter get the preferred number? Should we really do this just to see a handfull of low serials going into the classies for some extra bucks?
Of course, leaving some serials untouched is kind of suboptimal but whatever is done will be suboptimal for someone. its weired but just adding all unwanted serials to the 2200+ range sounds like a good solution for me.
Serials are a nice thing to have but from a technically standpoint there is no difference between #0002 and #2000, all devices are from the same batch, build with the same care and passion!

Manni knows about serial numbers as a great serial number gate keeper with Ariel! So 1. Everybody that asked for a serial number gets it and than it works like usual: you order and you discover your number with your eyes on the gg. GG suppliers are happy because they do not have to look for a number for each customer....At the same time, 2. thx to all guys that made it possible including Imeo, we are not so far away from a gg creation for which you (every gg enthusiast) decided (only the last custumer cannot decide) about the serial number. If this does not matter, than go for 1. I hope it helps...otherwise just skip...good luck!

It is a great idea to have video for Proteus, imeo, would love to see the specs and whether it can handle sub ohm and such.
