I'm gonna need a small change kde01, for another GG fan - FogNL
He will be taking over my 0489, and abandon his 0948.
While I, seems the earliest number possible is 706, so that will be my new number.
Unless there are going to be any earlier number slots.

With the provided information we will register all your GGs with serial numbers.

The serial numbers lists are tables in the GG Wiki, so it is not difficult to maintain. It might appear rudimentary, but we have more control of the edits we do, and the "Register your GG serial number" thread provide us with an additional control of the requests.
At first, when we installed the "backup GG Wiki", we allowed to anyone, that wanted to contribute, to create an account at the Wiki, but promptly the GG Wiki started to host a lot of spam pages, so we decided to not allow accounts creation.
And it was not feasible to allow an account creation, for the users that only wanted to register or edit their serial numbers.

Ariel, on my computer the list of taken serials shows in a flash and then hides?
It is a filtered view of the Google Docs spreadsheet, when you click on the link it first it shows the normal list and after a while (while Google Docs process the filter) it shows the filtered view which lists the available serial numbers.
