Just read the update. Protovapor.com Have to say the more I'm seeing from the happier I ordered the XPV. I like that they are taking steps to cut the lead time on orders. To many places have the... hope you get lucky enough to get one.... attitude. Glad the site is going to be updated more but would be nice to see a last order number shipped on there somewhere.

Ummm... yes that is super fishy because that is a screenshot from my youtube channel.

Its about 24 seconds in... AND I AM NOT SELLING MY XPV especially that its in Hawaii right now getting repaired

Well, I have to say, this is very interesting update in to the "craiglist XPV story" Jwolf, can you confirm with Protovapor that your XPV made it there? just curious and mabey non of my business but I can't help but wonder what is going on there!

On another note: I have to +1 with Dankman about Protovapor's service, my XPV 510 conn. had come loose from the top cap, (came to me that way from classies) and They are going to ship me a prewired 510 conn. soldered (presumably unless they have a new way of attaching) to a new top cap for a grand total of $8.00 shipped! all I have to do is splice the wires together :) how can they do that so cheaply! idk but props to them.

I bought the XPV in question from the seller and I must say it appears to be a genuine article. I have three others to compare it to.
It has been my full Time mod since I picked it up from the seller in person and is working flawlessly.
My best guess is that the CL pic may have been a " borrowed " screenshot. And after meeting the seller I would think it was with no ill intent.

While that is a logical question to ask, and I would also be interested to know the answer. My question is, if you sent your mod in for repair would you send in the manual, serial# certificate and charging cord?
I wouldn't.

I received these things with the XPV and all of those also appear to be genuine articles.

I've been really satisfied with my XPV. It's so nice and light, easy to grip, and has such a good firing button. I also like the rotary button to change the wattage. I went by a B&M the other day, and was showing off my ZNA and XPV, and was, surprised everyone seemed more interested in my all black XPV with the black Kayfun on top than the ZNA. I don't think any of you will be disappointed.

I think it was the price that threw me off, why would anyone sell it for so cheap lol

There are some in the vaping community that are not out for a profit in any way when selling our MOD's and they are the people I would trust the most.Though, when selling something that has not been out but a few days and hardly used,....I would question the cheap price myself??

Right. Not to profit from the re-sale is one thing, but to sell it so far under market value... I couldn't help but question the circumstances surrounding the sale. As far as I've EVER seen, XPV's sell for AT LEAST their original price, and no less. (Another reason to be so pleased with my choice to order an XPV for my collection. A mod that holds it's value at the original price at minimum, but more often than not command a substantially higher resale price, say's a lot about the mod, and even more importantly, the company behind the mod...)

I dropped my XPV this weekend while in a semi-inebriated state. It was clipped (I think) to one of the pockets on my cargo shorts. I was walking up the three concrete steps in my buddy's backyard. When I cleared the top step, down she went. Dripper cap & drip tip went flying, dogs saw the opportunity to bum rush me and lick something that smells good, XPV when skittering across the landing...

Picked her up and there was only a millimeter or so shallow gouge on one of the four bottom screws, and a barely noticeable scratch on the corner of the square bottom panel.

My xpv broke it just stopped charging. I contacted protovapor and they told me to send it in no questions asked. I sent it in last wednesday and got it back yesterday working just fine. Very happy with their customer service. Took six business days in total, which means they must have fixed it the same day they got it and sent it out that day.
