Personally I prefer a shorter mod. The way I vape I get a third to half a day from an 18500. Since I am home anyways, I use the shorter ones. That having been said I DID get an extended cap with mine, because for instance if you are at work all day, or if you go on long road trips, the 18650 with the Provari Power can give you more than plenty of power, without having to worry about swapping batteries.

I really prefer the stock version without the extended cap. But I did buy the extended cap and extra batteries.
I'd go for the extended. Even though I don't use mine.. I'm happy to know I have it.
I guess it's a kinda personal decision.
Think of the extender cap as a backup if nothing else. For instance, your power goes out, no way to charge batteries. The Provari Power battery will last 2 days on a charge for most people, and even the regular 18650 lasts most people a full day...

I would say get the extended cap just so you have it in case. I personally got the extended cap and 18650 batteries because i dont mind the size of it when it has the 18650s in it. I actually prefer the bigger batteries for the better battery life. I dont own any 18500s right now so my normal cap just sits there not being used.

Just ordered mine yesterday and bought the extended so I could use the 2500mah batts. You get the stock cap either way, so why not just order it and have the option for both?

Yours should be shipped pretty quickly then.
I've been using mine for the last two weeks. It is a huge leap forward for me. By the way mine is also satin and I really like the finish, doesn't show any dust or finger prints.
I thought I would prefer it with the extender cap but to be honest. I am really liking it with stock with my 18490. The charge is decent also. I am on a 2.2ohm rocking 4.5v so that might be the reason my charge is lasting me.
