Ummmm, the Reo has no battery regulation for one thing. No variable voltage to adjust to a flavor. Time-consuming to change between flavors on the same device. Need I go on?

I no longer have use for a mechanical mod. I'm admittedly spoiled by variable voltage and power regulation. Plus, I'm also spoiled by the 800 Hz PWM chip of the Provari.

I still don't have a REO yet, if I get one, I would want one of the wood ones, but with this thing, you get to use the provari chip.

Yeaahhhh......kinda. Reo does the bottom feeding and quality right, but the vv.....isn't the best out there. I know plenty of Reonauts are fine with the unregulated and will argue that you just build your coil to suit, and that's great, but someone that wants a bottom feeder with Provari quality regulation is pretty much out of luck. I'm planning on buying one of the Woodvils about to come out, and if I can find a deal on a Grand I may get one of those too, but I don't see ever getting rid of my Provari. It's kind of like drinking: I'm a scotch guy. I may have a beer, or an occasional martini, but when I really want a drink, I drink scotch. Provari is my scotch. I still use and enjoy other mods, but when it comes right down to it, I usually reach for my Provari.

ah, gotcha!!!!!!!!!!! that makes sense!

I like all things vape. The Provari was my first love and still use it. But, am at the point that it is under powered, although consistent. Depending on the build, I can get her to put out a tad over 15 watts, that's it. If they came out with a 6 amp upgrade, I would jump all over it. I love my mech mods too, I have one kicked at 15 watts and the other for sub ohm builds. My first sub ohm build was .5, which puts me in the 30 watt range, and my current build is .3 ohms, which gets me up to 50 watts.

I've been itching to buy the future, but since they only currently offer it with the DNA20, feel it would disappoint. What I really would love to see is a kick 3, a 30 watt kick would be to kewl. That would rock my vape world. But in the intermediate, have found a dual 26500 battery VV box mod with a six amp limit and can put out up to 50 watts, 8.4 volts. There is no meter on it, just a dial to crank up the volts and a firing button, but heck, the only use of the Provari menu for me is the E1 and E2 codes that tell me I have to dial it down .1 or .2 volts to be able to fire my build.

What I really don't understand is this dial in the volts or watts to find the sweet spot of one juice. To me, it's dial in the build to optimize the performance of the atomizer then crank it up to max, and that's the sweet spot. Well maybe more of a juicy spot. Lots of juice. Course this may change once I get the beastly box mod that can push my atomizers to their wicking and breathing limits, but I haven't found that point yet, just the amp limits of batteries and regulated devices is what I have found.

There is just so many different options that one can choose to satisfy the need to vape. Why limit oneself to just one style, mod or atomizer, there is just so many greats mods out there and not enough time to vape them all. or something like that.

ProVape, is most likely adding the DNA30 chip from Evolv.

I think it would be a very poor business decision on Provape's part if the next gen. Provari uses the DNA30 chip. It would just end up being another member of the DNA30 lineup. Nothing major setting it apart from the rest.

I know most regulated mods like the provari / semovar and dna20/30 recommend you use AW IMR batteries because of the safe chemistry and high drain features on the battery, does anyone know if the new Efest IMR batteries 2500mAH will be okay to use since they are IMR and they will have 400 more mAH than the old AW IMR 18650

I got this from the dna30 spec sheet, does that mean it's okay?

A single cell rechargeable lithium chemistry battery is recommended. Either a lithium ion or a lithium polymer type can be used. Any battery used should be rated for a MINIMUM of 12 amps continuous discharge current. High C rated lithium polymer or IMR cylindrical cells are strongly preferred. Make sure that all contacts and connections are capable of handling at least 12 amps.

A far more likely (and happier) relationship would be a ReoVari. :p

Oh GOD yes!!!

I've been waffling back and forth between the Reo and Provari as a next purchase for weeks!

I want the regulation of the Provari with the bottom feed of the Reo. I've looked at the VVGrand and it's just a bit large for my tastes, otherwise I would have owned one for a while now!

Been stalking the woodville thread with dreams of using a kick w/ one.
