I'm here, when I'm here
Welcome to the forum! I see you joined last month. IMHO, this is the best forum anyone, new or veteran vaper, can join for information and to make new friends all around the world.

Not knowing your level of vaping experience, advanced mods take a lot of research and battery knowledge. I've been vaping for about 8 months and not really something I want to get into. You might want to either now or later down the road but, my advice, study, study, study. If you like "cloud chasing" then mods mentioned previously may be for you. Again, imho, mods can be very dangerous for folks that don't have the knowledge of batteries and Ohms Law.

I started with an ego battery and advanced to a itaste v3 and on to a itaste MVP. Both of the itaste devices are good for beginner or veteran vapers. The ProVari is defiantly a step above. I'm going to insert this link again (thanks Baditude):

http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/blogs/baditude/5569-13-why-provari.html

I was going to get a ProVari when my tax return came in. Not because of everyone saying, "Ya got to get a ProVari. It's the best!" but because of the research I did beforehand including the link above. That was the catalyst that "talked" me into it. Before I bought one, a Red/Black Hybrid v2.5 was gifted to me for a successful project I did for my client. My v3's and the MVP are now my back ups. Will I get another one? Most assuredly.:D

Ive been vaping for 4 months and I have smoked 2 cigarretes since then. I gotta be honest the most important part for me was finding some good juice. I have tried a few places and I gotta say NIcoticket and Vapor Chef are my favorite. I am now slowly getting a few of my friends of the cigs as well. Hope it works for you

That's my problem. The local shop is way too busy to take the time and help me select a juice that I like. I just started vaping a few weeks ago, and sold me a cheap "starter" kit. I have yet to find a juice that mimics a good plain tobacco flavor. I should just order a juice online, but am spending a small fortune already.

Our local shop has a vapor bar with filled Vivi Nova tanks and disposable drip tips. You just grab a tip and move it from tank to tank and try the flavors. The bar has about 40 flavors on it.

A "real" tobacco flavor is almost non-existent. We are heating a juice to produce a PG/VG mist in a water vapor laced with nicotine and flavorings. With the cigarette, you are burning vegetation laced with a bunch of chemicals and flavors. We vape to get nicotine and find a flavor we like. Sometimes, if you are lucky and your taste buds agree, it's a little like smoking a cigarette.

Try the Halo tobacco sample pack and see if one strikes you as a good alternate to smoking. My favorites were Torque56 and Tribecca. My first hit of Torque56 gave me a sudden reminiscent feeling of a time when I smoked. It was pretty much a mental recreation of a cigarette taste. I think it's the only juice that ever struck me that way. Halo sells the tobacco sampler for $24.99. It contains six 6oz bottles of tobacco flavored juices and all of them are very vapable. In the worst case, you get 36ml of a good variety of tobacco flavored juices for $24.99.

Congrats on your new ProVari! You'll be happy with your purchase...even if a select few individuals have nothing better to do than try to make you doubt your decision. Sad, isn't it? Anyway, a much larger population, people who actually KNOW what you purchased, are happy for you. I have many other mods and mechs. I really like all of them. I usually take 2 or 3 set ups with me for the day...at least one of them is always a ProVari.

You chose a great, reliable product. Congratulations :vapor:

Why do some post about what you should have bought? Apparently you've already made your choice so why try and tell you what to buy! That's a little crazy.

You will be very satisfied with your Provari. I have dozens of VV and mech mods, but 99% of the time I'm using my Provari because its reliable and to me does the best job for what I need and want.

Because some believe that what is best for them simply has to be best for everyone else which in reality is nothing but a heaping pile of B.S.

The beauty of the vaping world is that there are options for everyone to get their groove on.......:vapor:

He already bought it...he wasn't asking you what you think he should have bought. Your opinion or approval wasn't requested. Be patient...if history has proven anything, you'll have plenty of opportunities to bash ProVari when people post "What should I get, ProVari or ... " threads.

Err, um Why would I want to bash Provari when I own two of them myself.

If you would of taken the time to read back a little further you would find that I was not the one bashing the Op's purchase or suggesting others after the fact but was only congratulatory on the purchase.

But hey, its all good!..................:2cool:

Thanks for not hammering me for it.
