Provari base?

I saw a provari base at cig tech but I use an Aw18650 with extension cap will I need to get the smaller batteries to use the base? Like the 18490 or 18500?

Provari site sells the tatroe base, and it says it takes an 18490

I think the Tatroe base for the Provari will simply replace the bottom battery cap. Should make no difference as to which battery you are currently using. Everything remains the same.

You will need an extension ring to use a ProVari in 18650 mode with the Tatroe base. The base isn't an extension cap, but replaces the standard cap.
