I'm just about to buy a ProVari , still can't decide if to go for the black or the chrome model :?

Any comment is welcomed and thanks in advance

Chrome will show up any small surface scratches but looks bling,
Blacks good if you like it dark but i have the satin one and i think that's the best this has been an everyday PV for about 6 weeks and no marks that show up

I like this comment purely on principal! I'm not so much a fashion expert as I am practial. Besides, black goes with EVERYTHING and never goes out of style.

Anyone who's had a chrome or "polished" type mod for any length of time will most likely say black. I am no exception.

Go for the chrome Provari. It's a real beauty! Just grab some cotton gloves at Walgreens or Walmart. Here's the ones I use:

...too much ... during the evening can give sweatty fingers during the day, that + that I'm not a bling type of guy + all the comments here = I'm not in the slightest doubt any more...

I love my regular satin one. Black can flake and I can't keep the darn chrome ones clean.

I've owned my black ProVari for over three months now and haven't had any issues regarding the finish.

It looks as good as the day I purchased it!

My finish on my black Provari is uneven around the bottom where the bottom cap screws in, it's almost transparent like a light greyish color. I'm thinking of sending it back next week when I get my newest toy in.

I'm really eaten up with OCD so remember that. I think as to the looks factor, the black looks best but like any coating, it may chip. The chrome is beutiful but chrome is a finish coating just as the black is (yes they add the chrome to the base stainless or were doing so - I asked them at the factory) so over time, it not only picks up little scratches but may also chip.

That's why I like the satin. To me personally, it isn't as pretty as the other two but - The satin finish is a treatment to the actual metal itself, not a coating. Translation: Much easier to get refinished or keep looking better longer.

But honestly, the one reason I can laugh at myself is I think 3 years down the road on buying something, including mods, when in 3 years, what we are using now will likely be like a dinosaur!
