Provari burnt taste low vapor

So I got my provari starter kit today. I put it together according to the video on provape.com and vaped for about 30 mins and stopped.

When I picked it up again after about 2 hrs.. i started getting a burnt taste and almost no vapour.

I am completely new to vaping and this is my first day with the provari.

Am I doing something wrong??

What carto/atty/clearo are you using?
Also remember that you must fill it before using it or it will burn the atomizer.

It sounds like the juice delivery. The ProVari is just the PV, the atty is the juice delivery system. If it tastes burnt, it means it has no fluid or you have your PV volts too high.

I put in 20-25 drops of juice in it earlier. SO I need to refill juice every time I vape?

Voltage is set at 4.0 and I have the standard 3 ohm 510 cartomizer

Ive heard the atties they supply with those arent very good, but definitely sounds likea juice delivery problem.You need to fill the carto until it starts to look a little slushy on top

4.5 is a good voltage for 3 ohms.
It should work.

if its full of juice and the voltage is set at 4.5 volts then you shouldnt be getting a burnt flavor at all...4.5 volts on a 3.ohm is plenty low.

try a new carto

Yes. You must keep it wet. I use a tank for my cartos and it works very well, that way I don't have to keep dripping juice into it. It will look "slushy" on top when it is filled. You may also want to look on you tube for a video on "condom method" of filling them as it is easy and fast to do.

The sleeve method is easy, but is messy.......

Nah, I'm pretty chill now! I got worked over good this morning and my back felt like I took a baseball at 40mph! I'm trying not to take them anymore than I have to, but some days you gotta do what you gotta do!

Thanks guys... adding some juice did the trick.. the burnt taste stayed for the first few drags but then its gone. I have read a bit about tanks but not sure what to get.

Any recommendations for a newbie?

Using cartos, thats what your doing wrong...lol
Atomizers are much better, but you have to drip.....

Go to IBTanked.com and pick out a glass tank in 19 mm width and regular heighth choose endcaps of your preference,stainless or acrylic.. If you are using cartos from Provape starter kit,they are Boge 510 SR. You will need to learn to punch a hole in them or purchase prepunched cartos.
