na I put the carto in the tank half way fill the tank making sure nothing goes in the carto then once I fill the tank a little over half way I push the carto the rest of the way up through the top of the tank so its just about flush then I put the drops down the sides of the carto then I put the drip tip on. I dont know if this info will help but when I press the button only a tiny bit of smoke comes out you can barely see it but you can smell it pretty good

OK, you are not filling the carto first...thus a dry carto will give a burnt taste and no vapor...you need to fill the carto first....then fill the tank....

You really didn't mean to type "3v" did you? Even a LR carto needs 3.4v to 3.7v to work properly. I'm getting great clouds of vapor from my Provari using a 3 ohm Boge carto at 4.2v. Weak vapor would be what I'd get from a 3v setting. Your carto should be sizzling and maybe even crackling if the voltage is right.
In another post you said that you had gone through 4 cartos with the same result. What is the resistance of your carto? If it's a 3 ohm carto, you need to be somewhere between 4v and 5v depending on the juice your are using. The Provari comes set at 4v when it arrives. Did you go down to 3v?
ETA: What Retird said. You must fully saturate the carto, THEN install it into the tank. You will burn the filler around the coil if you don't! That may be some of the bad taste you are getting. The filler is polyfill (polyfiber). In other words, it's plastic or some polymeric version of plastic. It depends on the juice to absorb the heat and prevent scorching.
Do the condom fill in the video with a new carto and put it into the tank. Let us know what happens. I"m betting you will have a smile on your face afterwards!

Trapper, properly filling the carto first before putting it in the tank should solve your burning taste problem...you can then adjust the voltage up a little at a time till it produces like you want....too much voltage can also cause a burnt taste...you will learn...

If it has a flange at the bottom (which is meant to fit into a dctank).. probably not. Do you have a syringe and needle to syringe fill? We're all pretty sure that your cartos aren't getting saturated down towards the bottom. did you check the ohms? do you have a backup device till you can get more cartos? Is the provari the only device you have? Rest assured that you are not having a problem that can't be fixed.
I know I only put about 5 drops in the carto but that is what I was doing the whole time I had it and it was working fine I'll try and put 20 drops in like you said and hopefully that will work thanks for the tip. my carto is 3ohm and I was vaping at 5v untill this problem happend then I tried going to the lowest voltage to make sure I didnt have it to high and still the same but I will try putting a good amount of drops in and hopefully it will work. I also just orderd cartos from a diffrent company thinking maybe I got a bad batch of cartos but thanks everybody for you help/advice it is deeply appreciated, you guys helped me as much as anyone one could help some one and for that Iam greatfull. Just incase this doesnt work and I have to order a new one I will give this one away to some one on this tread that helped me and maybe one of you can fix it thanks again.
I know a guy that sells ego T's around the corner from me I'll go buy one from him and try this last carto on the ego first thank you for your help I will post later tonight or tomorrow the results and na I dont have a serenge unfortinatlly
A 3.0 ohm carto at 5 volts is within reason....I use 3.0 carto's at 5.1 volts, and have for years...

Just make double sure that that last carto of yours is filled properly... all the way. It's better to flood it and then have to blow a little juice out then to burn up another one. I don't understand how you could have been using it successfully with so little juice these past weeks but somehow you did. we'll get this straightened out.

That guy around the corner who sells eGos... he wouldn't happen to have any non-flanged cartos for sale would he? Condom filling is a sure way to get a proper fill quickly.

Trapper, remember, any carto in a tank has to have holes, or slots.....carto's without holes can be used with out a tank...but ALL carto's must be properly filled to work right..
I'm betting on the driptip as the culprit. Cheap rubber driptips taste godawful, and I'd bet plastic ones do too.

Drip tips do not cause loss of vapor...I know you were just joking, but at this point, no need for confusion...we are trying to help..
Also...if you are filling your carto by dripping...it needs time for the juice to soak into the filling. Keep adding drops and waiting for it to absorb until it wont absorb any more. Then wait some more. If it gurgles, you can gently blow into your (hopefully not rubber) driptip into a papertowel to get any excess juice out. Your driptip is not your problem.
He wasnt there he sells the ego t's out of his bar the bartender said he'll be in tomorrow around 7pm est..... But what midficollege said about the plastic drip tips I used one a couple days ago I got from empire mods could that have anything to do with it?
Your issue is from not filling the carto properly (and completely)....not the drip tip, and not the provari.
