Or you can put an O ring on the threads, which may or may nor work, depends on the atty, it's not your Provari, I have used cartos on it, Protank II, and a Z-Atty, cartos are the worst for air flow issues and mine works fine.

Ehhhh, I'm not crazy about the PTII. But I've run across OPs issue on mine. If I torque it down all the way, the PTs channels don't line up with the slots on the 510 and there is ZERO draw. ZILCH.

If I back it off a tad, it works fine.

I prefer my vision vivi nova to the pro tank II that came in my kit. I remember seeing Provape posting something about not tightening the PTII down too much. Does the OP have a PT (which I have no experience) or PTII?

As Edgar posted a pic the ProTanks II have a base with air reliefs in it, it has no problems with the Provari'

Sometimes the P2 doesn't play nice with the Provari when it's screwed down completely. If the draw is too tight, just back it off a bit and it works. See the PBusardo review, he highlighted the problem. A PBusardo Review - ProTank II, Mini ProTank, Davide, & a Contest - YouTube

I had that problem and my vape shop had a different bottom for the protank that has notches in the bottom to allow better airflow. See if you can try that route. It worked for me. If you can't find one, contact Tampa Vapor in Tampa, Fl and one of those guys can mailorder it to you. Super nice guys, and their juice is great too.

My wifeuses protanks on her mini with no problems ( the reliefs do the trick).....an X9 fasttech copy of a protank will not work at alll ( no reliefs in the base)

I do like the idea of air holes drillled in the top of the Provari (like the SVD)...... but I aint doing it !!

Cig techs makes a very nice replacement ss base/cap for the pro-tank, that works great for the original pro-tank, and I think it fits the pro-tank 2 (I don't have one yet) also I have heard that the original base pt1, works better as well. but those air flow controllers, above are also good.

I use PT2's (we are talking about Protank 2's here right?) on my Provari with no problems. I think some people tend to snug their tanks down too tight and therefore unintentionally interfere with the air draw.
