How are the colored finishes on the Provari? Are some better than others? I'm sure they will scratch if dropped or something but are the finishes as durable as the actual device? I'm placing my order tomorrow and I'm trying to decide on the finish.

The most durable finish would be the polished, since scratches can be buffed out. The second would be the satin silver, since scratches don't show very much. The Cerakote finishes are very durable, but they can get a little dinged up over time; it adds character.
ETA: Mine don't have any marks on them, but they have only been dropped (albeit at least once a day) on a hardwood floor. For extra protection, and because I like the feel, I keep all of mine in Serenity flexi-sleeves.

I own 2 used Provari Minis.
A black and a custom polished one.
The black is of unknown age and certainly shows sign of wear. The finish has become more shiny than matte. While there are no scratches, the paint has worn down at most of the areas where the flat surface meets the engraved portions of the design. The Paint is worn very thin along those lines and you can begin to see the metal underneath. Here is a pic showing this wear and how it compares to the 1 month old extension cap. I did drop this cap on rough pavement and it nicked it up pretty good.
I agree with Oce that the Satin Silver and the Polished SS are going to hide any scratches or wear better.
I would imagine the White would also hide scratches pretty well.

Weird. When I bought my mini on Friday, they only had the polished SS in standard size. Today I see the polished SS is back in the mini size. Perhaps the crop circles where playing a hex on me and I was imagining this.

I would trust what The Ocelot says for she would know better than I because I haven't even owned my ProVari a month yet. BUT, for what it's worth, my boyfriend dropped his new Satin Purple ProVari on concrete yesterday and there were no scratches, no dings, no signs of the drop at all. We were quite amazed.

I am another one, who likes the serenity gear sleeves, the leather does protect them from damage.

Yep. The purple and blue were on the clearance page on Friday. Now "the pinky" is there. Pinky now missing from the main pages.
Maybe this means everyone is buying Provari's so stock is low. Yeah, that's it.

ive got a 2yr old black chrome that has very little black chrome left due to it never leaving my grubby little hands but its got a black kevlar wrap from vapor skinz that make that baby look like new again
ProVape stopped making the chrome because it wasn't very durable. I've seen pictures of some that are pretty worn. Luckily there are cool looking wraps available!
I have to wait a bit but i see the chrome mini with blue led in my future. Gotta have that back up. Hoping i might one day find it on the classies or ebay or craigslist at a price that the wife will not kill me over, but that still has to be a ways off. i have to prove i can save money before i can spend any more. lol
You mean a polished stainless steel mini, they don't make chrome anymore and I think they stopped making them before the mini was introduced.
I cant say how they hold up over time. Mine just came to me today! But im impressed with the finish on my zombie edition. One of the best finishes I have seen on a device and its so nice not having a shiny fingerprint magnet in my hands.
Now I just need some kind of carrier im scared to leave the house with this. Its just too damn pretty to put a scratch on it.

Beauty marks, I call them. ProVari are a finely tuned machine, made to be used. Scratches and paint wear simply means it has been used as intended. Imagine a football team finishing a game with clean uniforms...
