I could use some help here.

Brand new provari mini, just got it today and it was working great (was being the operative word). First symptom was E1 error, I took off the tank, tried a different tank...same result. Then quick flashing....dead battery already! Changed battery, same E1 error and then same quick flashing light like the battery is dead.

First problem is power, I find it hard to believe all 3 of my batteries are suddenly duds...maybe a bad charger?

Second problem, why was it working great and then suddenly no connection to the tank?

I am using an Ibtank by the way, then I had the same problem with a protank.

Any ideas???

Thanks in advance!

Could this AGAIN be the "compressed spring" issue?
a) Are you using AW IMR button top batteries?
b) Pull out the spring - careful, I don't mean "pull it OUT" - I mean stretch it out. Maybe pull it a bit with pliers, but also give it a little clockwise pressure - it's actually THREADING in at the bottom, and you don't want to pull it out, you just want to ensure it's stretched to make solid battery contact.

Wow, this is incredibly frustrating! I have tried every tank and carto I have that fits, no matter what I put on there I am getting the E1 error. I have tested them on my MVP 2 and they are all firing as they should, so I am at a total loss here. Guess it's time to contact ProVape for some help.

Thank you all for trying to help. Unfortunately nothing I've tried has worked, so I emailed customer support. It just really sucks, you know? I waited a week to get it, used it about 4 hours and loved it, just to have it go wonky on me with no warning or reason. I'm just really frustrated and frankly a little p...sed off! It took all I had to not test the indestructible nature of this thing and take a hammer to it.

Hang in there! Good news is that there is the warranty and they will fix it or send you a new one.

KB, let me know if you need further assistance, You should get a reply back very soon from customer service. Hopefully we can get this sorted out for you, its unfortunate you are having issues with your provari, The spring could very well be an issue. If you pull the spring out some, to stretch the spring just a bit does that help with the error code?
My apologies
Ken

Thanks for the reply Ken! And yep, tried that too. To summarize the events in one post: new mini working fine, suddenly no vape. Figured battery must've died as the button flashing indicated that so I changed the battery out just to get the dreaded E1 error. Kept getting that same error no matter what I did. When it doesn't have the E1 error the battery plays dead. Guessing that's to protect it from a short.
I tried swapping out the carto's, switching tanks, just screwing on a primed carto without a tank, tried two different carto tanks, two pro tanks, a nautilus and a Davide tank all with the same result. I pulled the spring a little and swapped batteries several times. No change.
I did test the ohms on all of them and they seem to firing at the correct ohms, and I tried everything from 1.8 to 3.2 ohm attys. Also set the Provari all the down to the lowest setting.
Last resort, I pulled the battery out and am just going to let it sit overnight...maybe the ProVari fairy will magically reset the whole thing and it'll work in the morning. If not, at least I know you folks at ProVape will make it right for me.
