ProVari in the car?

So my motivated .... went to the craft store to try and find a solution for holding my ProVari when not holding it while driving.

Well long story short: I'm not as creative or as capable as I thought.

What have others done to kind of keep your ProVari stable while in the car?

How about one of those clip-on cup holders that hangs from the door panel? Maybe doctor it up a little bit so it will actually hold a PV without scratching it up? Try Ebay!

A round block of wood with a hole in it the size of the ProVari, which fits inside the cars cup spiller, should do the trick.

And yes I did call it a cup spiller because I haven't seen one that actually holds a cup! (without spilling it)

I use one of those 12oz. foam beer can coolers in the cup holder of my truck... It sits in there nice, doesn't tip over with my tank on it, and it won't get scratched...

I have a little cup holder looking thing (I think it's really suppose to hold sunglasses) that I picked up at a truck stop a few years ago that hooks into an airvent.

It wasn't very much and it was great to be able to put it pretty much where ever I want.

What have others done to kind of keep your ProVari stable while in the car?

My car has an adjustable cupholder. When I pull it in to make the cupholder smaller, there's a slot in the arm that just fits a ProVari. So mine rides in the cupholder.

If you want to make something easy, just get an ashtray insert for your cupholder - they sell them at any auto parts store - and take the lid off. You'll have a small cup that should hold your PV perfectly.
