Thanks Batitude. Great photos. The Tatroe really does look good with black. Hmmmm.....

legaldisaster, I guess I could match it with my GTO, but I thought the polished SS would look nice with the GTO too. :) Is the red Provari matte or shiny? Looks matte and kind of blah in the Provape photos, but I know they aren't the best representation.

It is a satin finish. The hue color varies according to the amount of light. There's a nice pic of a red Mini here: http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/provari/476847-got-my-second-mini-red-awesome.html#post10896962

Ooh yes, please post a photo on here when you get it. I'd love to see how the red actually looks.

I have a silver standard size (v2) and a mini in metallic bronze. I love both colors , but I do prefer the teardrops on the mini to the crop circles. Both look nice with the Tatroe Base. Although expensive, another option is this:

Cingulum Compleo Set für ProVari Akkuträger - TrevVapor

Lots of options, there. I have the bronze.

I really want a black mini, and will get one eventually. I have seen the red one in person, and to me it's more terra cotta in color. I do not really like the color but taste is subjective.

I just received my polished stainless steel mini on Saturday. It does show finger prints pretty easily but it's one good looking device. Any color tank, drip tip etc will look good on it. I'll be getting a wrap or two for it for when I want more color but right now I'm pretty content with it the way it is. I wanted to get the Tatroe extension ring for it but it wasn't showing on the website when I ordered, they must have been out. I was bummed about that. The stainless looks awesome though.

I thought the exact same thing a few minutes ago when I was looking at the photos of the red ones!

CigTechs in Hanover Park had some not too long ago. If that is not too far for you maybe call them and see what they have in stock still. They is actually where I saw the red one.

Ok, I admit, I'm pretty jealous. :) The Provape site says they will have the polished SS minis in stock in about two weeks, but they still don't have an ETA for the full size. Maybe I should just wait it out. It might teach me a little patience.

Is2erin- I apparently got lucky. I didn't even know they tend to sell out on the polished stainless! I'm planning on getting a standard size in a couple of months and plan on getting it in polished stainless also. I figure if I want color later on I can wrap it and I can wrap it in the color of my choosing. I won't be limited to the colors ProVape offers.

I hate waiting I waited for 2 1/2 months for the polished, then the first day they came out I missed it, I got in on the 2nd batch, I ordered 1 each both sizes and 1 satin, and they did a security check on me, and that delayed my shipment for a week. I am still waiting. :(

Security check? What are they checking for?

Black. Standard. 18500. Most anything you will put on this will be brushed stainless, from a SMOK RSST to a ZEN. With a standard black drip tip, with its brushed top and cap, whatever you screw on it looks like it belongs. Carry a spare battery.

Matte finish is very durable, just don't carry it in a pocket with keys, etc.

Standard brushed battery cap is slightly flatter than the stock extension cap so it's more stable with a tank when standing up.

I use mine with a Phoenix rebuildable dripping atty, in fact several for different flavors and a variety of rebuildable tanks.

Whatever you decide, you'll love yours as much as the rest of us love ours. There are countless regulated mods...

...only one is ProVari...I have seven other vv vw mods, all nice, functional devices but the ProVari is cut from a different bolt of cloth.

I checked their website, but didn't see any Provaris. I might go there sometime to check it out, it's not that far.

Good to know. Is it always on a week day or do they update on weekends too?

I've been considering a Provari for a while, but I tried out a few different mods over the weekend at my favorite local shop... Tesla, ZMAX, Lavatube... I was not impressed. That's when I said, "no thanks" and got really serious about getting a Provari.
