About Me: I vape 75% - 100% VG. What I've owned since I began vaping 8.5 months ago: Original Buzz, Ego VV, used the ego type B tanks, Reo mini.
I am simply in awe of the Provari.
I have had it about 2 weeks now & these are the things I've found with it:
PROs:
1. The thing delivers a good hit no matter what.
2. You can check the ohms of your atty/ tank etc.
3. If your atty is getting older, maybe a little clogged/ harder to draw & the resistance is going up, no problem - just up the voltage. Thus, it extends the life of your atty (& saves $$).
4. Its pretty good looking (I have the white chrome - altho it IS a fingerprint magnet. I carry it in a black hardshell padded "Cigar Caddy" case thats waterproof. Its the 2 cigar carrying size, that fits the Provari, the 5-6 ml Torpedo tank attached, a microfiber cloth, 1-2 spare below batteries, & a ~10 ml thin juice bottle). Can get on Amazon).
5. the battery life is 4-5 hours. I vape 3-4 mL a day (with the recommended batteries - I am using the red AW IMR 18490 3.7v 1100 mAh batteries they sell on the Provari website).
6. The draw (throat hit & vapor) on this has such a "kick", that I use 6mg nic juice on it - Alien's 6mg C&D (I normally use 12 mg on my other ecigs).
7. It somehow manages to deliver the same vape even when the battery is going low, so vaping is good from start to finish. Just adjust it for your personal preferences.
CONS:
1. its heavy
2. its big (reminds me of I'm carrying a flashlight - especially with the 5-6 mL Torpedo Tank I have on it. I wasn't able to get a 2.5 mL tank of any fancier mod as they have been sold out for weeks).
3. Its not portable IMHO (ie: not shirt pocket friendly. So I use the eGo variable volt with a Vision Deux ~2 mL clearomizer tank on it when out & about):
- however lol, I have still been known to take the Provari when driving as its consistency/ vape/ throat hit are pretty hard to put down!
CONCLUSION:
If I was only allowed 1 ecig type ever, I'd take the Provari however, as its vape & versatility is phenomenal.
