Provari + Lemo - Questions

So I just got my Lemo today. I did 12 wraps with the wire that came with it (I believe it's 26 gauge wire). It came out to 1.4 Ohm. I was previously using an RSST.

I have a few questions:

1. My coil is taking forever to heat up. It's taking about 2 seconds before I can hit it. My RSST would instantly produce vapor. Is this normal, or could it be the way I wrapped my coil? I'm new to wrapping these type of coils.

2. It seems like the flavor of my RSST was slightly better. Should the Lemo have better flavor than an RSST?

I have noticed how much warmer of a vape the Lemo is compared to my RSST. There is a pretty big difference between Cotton and Mesh when it comes to "smooth vapes" - cotton feels much smoother.

Other than those two issues, I'm loving the Lemo. I like that I don't have to worry about leaking or tilting it when I vape.

Maybe the Provari doesn't have enough power to heat up 12 wraps of 24g wire in a reasonable amount of time ? If you are aiming for 1.4 ohms or thereabouts, i recommend using 28, 29 or even 30g wire. 24g wire is really for sub-ohming.

Here's where the Provari comes into play.... you specify your coil is 1.4 ohms, but how many volts are you running at? You might have to turn up the volts to get the desired watts that you're looking for.
Ultimately watts determine heating capacity .

And... I like Provari threads (Reo threads too). Wanna start something? :) :):):) :)
